Short waistcoat pattern

Well here goes .... I have never written a pattern before, but have been asked for it by a few people, so here it is.

Materials: 200g 100% cotton yarn; 3mm hook.
Garment is made from motifs which are joined together on the final round of each motif.

Abbreviations: ch = chain. tr = treble. dc = double crochet. sc = single crochet.

Notes: Cluster is worked thus: Keeping last loop on hook, 1 treble in treble below, 2 trebles in ch space, 1 treble in treble below, yarn through 4 loops on hook.
Join - make a join by working a sc in middle of chain space.
Tension: square motif is 4.5 inches across when joined. Width of back is 23 inches including folded side squares. Neck to base is 23 inches.
