Thread Lacy Waistcoat

I made this thread waistcoat about 10 years ago. The plan was to wear it to my son's baptism, but I didn't finish it in time. I am really pleased it still fits - I had forgotten about it, but I found it in my wardrobe the other day.

My Mom modelling it

I made this gilet when I was off sick. My mom is modelling it. She had said that she could do with a body warmer about 2 weeks before! It only took me a day. It was worked in one piece from the back bottom edge. The stitch is 3 dcs, 3 ch, 3dc etc - simple! I used a 4 mm hook and 300g mohair mix yarn. I made this scarf with the left overs.
