Birthday present sweater.

I finished this sweater yesterday. It's for my mom's birthday next month. It has been on my needles since June. I modified this pattern. I used 4mm circular needles and Teddy Avril dk in light pink and melon.

Footstool cover

Decided on a slip over cover for my ancient footstool. I used oddments of Twilley's Southern Comfort purple thread, Empress crochet cotton in lilac and unbanded size 10 cream crochet thread and my 1.75mm hook. I used the African daisy flower pattern for my hexagon motifs. I used a length of elastic to keep it taught and slip under the base. Tutorial for African flowers.

In progress...

Green cap sleeve wrap

I made this with a 1.75 hook and about 175g 3ply cotton. Didn't take long, though was difficult to see at night...I made this up so worked out how many stitches I would need. Added a chained beaded cord for the fastening.

I used this stitch pattern for the body:
I used this edging design for the border on the front edges:

Lace edging

I made this 12 ft edging in 6ft pieces at the request of my mum to edge her tablecloth. Used about 15g No.10 crochet cotton and a size 1 hook.

Pattern

Motif bolero

I used 250g Phildar perle 8 fil d'ecosse and a 1.75mm hook. I made up this design based on the bookmark motifs I made earlier in the year.

Baby dress, shoes and headband

I used Phildar perle 8 fil d'ecosse and a 1.75 hook. Found the pattern on this site half way down page with the grids. Added a flower.

Made some matching Mary Jane shoes from this pattern.

And made up a head band to complete the set.

Here is Lola in the outfit.
