Tapestry Tote

I saw this tote on crochetville.org and fell in love with the design and decided on making my own. Fortunately the maker had posted the pattern link, so I got going. I used a 3mm hook and some 4 ply sheen cotton that I am using to make a summer wrap. My squares are only 3" across unlike the pattern which states 4.5" squares. So the whole bag is only 8 inches across.

Heart Tote

This is one of my latest designs. I had some squares knocking about, so I thought I would stitch them up following the completion of my "tapestry tote". This one is made with 20 cotton in pink, with a 1.5mm hook and has used 14 squares. I added a crochet tassel with silver thread. I may give this away as a Christmas present.
