Stash busting project.

I decided on making a cover for my son's gaming chair after throwing out the old cover it had! This took me 5 days to complete with a lot of left over yarns from my stash and a 3.5 hook. It is worked in hdcs all the way through, involved a lot of measuring, guessing and head scratching.  I need to add elastic to the bottom to keep it taut.

Throw and pillow cover

I recycled these cushion covers I had made previously and turned them into 4x3 throw. I recycled a pillow my son decided to throw out as a back support for crafting. I used a 4mm hook for the throw and 3.5mm hook for the pillow cover.

Cotton socks

I based the socks on this pattern, though modified it and used a 3mm hook. I used 3x50g of Ice Yarn tube cotton in white/navy/blue. I started with 40 chain, so amended the sizing.I worked 30 rounds before starting the heel turn on 20 sts. I worked 26 rounds until starting the toe shaping, which is not the same as the pattern specifies.

Summer leaves top

I modified this pattern so there are no buttons on the back of the yoke. I used 4mm needles and 11x50g Ice Yarns Bamboo Linen yarn.
